Heavy Mobile Equipment Chief Technician
Scope: Assure the proper maintenance and repair of productive mechanical equipment of the Mine (mainly mobile equipment).
Responsibilities:
•    Organize and successfully execute the day to day maintenance and repair activities. 
•    Supervise and coordinate his team of technicians for on the field repair activities,    supervise routine scheduled maintenance work, equipment breakdowns and perform diagnostics.
•    Ensure that the maintenance team is working according to the safety protocols of the company and safeguard the safety policies and procedures for the area of their responsibility
•    Cooperate with Production Personnel (Supervisors and Operators) to ensure the proper and safe use of the equipment and schedule the repairs and maintenance, without affecting the productivity of the Mine.
•    Comply to the relevant legislation for the mines electromechanical equipment 
•    Carry out equipment inspections as part of the preventive maintenance program and daily unscheduled spot inspections.
•    Contribute to the manufacturing of items and spare parts or arrange specialist procurement of fixtures, fittings or components.
•    Control and properly distribute the maintenance tools and equipment
•    Perform trainings, toolbox talks, safety briefings and assure the continuous development of his team.
 Qualifications:
•    Mechanic Technician License
•    Foreman certificate is considered a plus
•    Excellent Greek and very good knowledge of English, both written and oral are a must
•    Experience with diagnostic tools and software (Deutz Decom, Cummins Insite, CAT Electronic Technician, OBD, etc) is considered as a plus
•    Experience and Skills:
•    More than 10 years of experience as Heavy Equipment Technician in Mining or Construction industry
•    More than 5 years of experience as Heavy Equipment Chief Technician or Workshop Foreman in Mining or Construction industry
•    Experience in Industrial Equipment is also desired
•    In depth knowledge of Industrial Hydraulics and Pneumatics, Combustion Engines and Power Shift Transmissions.
•    Understanding of Hydraulic, Pneumatic and Electrical Drawings
•    Experience with diagnostic tools and software (Deutz Decom, Cummins Insite, CAT Electronic Technician, OBD, etc)
•    Experience with basic steel fabrication works and equipment Chassis Repairs
•    Communication, problem solving, report writing and presentation skills
•    Be positive and flexible in approach
•    Result oriented, team-player, accountable, work under pressure
•    Experience in leading, managing, developing and motivating employees including within a shift environment
•    Ability to identify scope out and manage projects to deadline
•    Physical and mental state suitable for working in underground mining environment
•    Willingness to work in an underground environment
