The Position

Market Controller - PM APAC

Job Summary

Controlling Activities

Prepare monthly / quarterly financial & Commercial reporting at BA level
Responsible for set up and maintenance of Business Intelligence at BA leavel
Sales Overheads: people and travel mainly; innovation, marketing & customer service if relating to the cluster
Prepare and analyse the market P&L in collaborate with market Business Analysts

Budget / Forecast

Responsible for financial budgeting and forecasting for BA (topline, gross margin, cluster COI)
Implementation and animation of rolling commercial forecast in collaboration with Business Analyst

Credit Management

Harmonize the credit management policy for BA
Advise cluster manager on customer credit assessment / credit limit / payment terms in accordance with Group standards, also in charge of adhoc customer blocking when relevant
Apply Credit insurance contract at BA level
Animate cash collection process
Conduct DSO analysis and propose performance improvement on Accounts Receivables
Key competencies
Demonstrate strong analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills, combined with a strong commercial mind-set
Able to build strong collaborative relationships across all levels of the Segment’s organization, team player
Strong Communication skills – written and oral
Excellent presentation skills
Highly organised with prioritisation skills
Knowledge of SAP, Magnitude and Excel/Google sheet skills (advanced), ability to play with BI tool
Leadership skills, ability to influence and lead a cross-functional team
Ideal background/ experience
A minimum of a Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance is required. MBA and or CPA is preferred
A minimum of 5-10  years working experience in within a financial control department / or in commercial controlling
Experience in reporting in a complex and dynamic organisation
