The Position

Calderys - Finance Controller, HTS, India

Job Summary

• Support Cluster manager in their decision making process to improve financial & commercial performance, by providing appropriate financial analysis and reporting

Business partnering activities

• Run analysis related to Cluster activities

- Clients, products profitability 

- Sales management (rebate schemes, price negotiations, commercial strategy)

- Cluster marketing (price range, cluster strategy, NPD business case)

• Monitor receivables 

- Price and rebate implementation in systems

- Customer claims and financial impact

Controlling Activities

• Responsible for financial budgeting and forecasting (topline, gross margin, cluster COI)

• Prepare monthly financial & Commercial reporting

• Produce KPIs

-Sales: volume / price / mix analysis; standard gross margin Sales Overheads: people and travel mainly; innovation, marketing & customer service if relating to the cluster

• Control receivables / Credit management

- Advise cluster manager on credit limit / payment terms

- Animate cash collection process 

- Conduct DSO analysis

- Monitor and propose performance improvement on Accounts Receivables

• Assess, monitor and control risks within the relevant segment area
• Deliver timely, accurate and complete financial reporting data.

Ensure compliance of business operations with company policies and best practices.

Education & background:

• Master Degree specialized in Finance, Chartered Accountant (CA)

•    7-10  years working experience in within a financial control department / or in commercial controlling Experience in reporting in a complex and dynamic organisation
  • Knowledge of SAP, Magnitude and Excel/Google sheet skills (advanced) 
  • Demonstrate strong analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills, combined with a strong commercial mind-set
  • Able to build strong collaborative relationships across all levels of the Segment’s organization
  • Strong Communication skills – written and verbal
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Experience in a fast paced sales environment
  • Highly organised with prioritization skills
