The Position

Commercial Financial Manager

Job Summary

Support and provide inputs to sales team to ensure the alignment of segment strategy and the sales performance, and to deliver the business targets and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Produce Sales KPIs – Sales: volume / price / mix analysis; Order book, Book to Bill, standard gross margin
Support Segment VP in all ad-hoc requirements, facilitating business reviews, tracking KPI metrics, evaluation of incentive programs, influencing Leadership Team to address variances and close any gaps etc.
Evaluating and offering recommendations regarding financial impact of business changes, projects, and conduct after action reviews for key projects through planning, analysis and budgets.
Partnering with the segment team to track the results of projects, provide understanding of any variances and resolve gap with management.
Lead annual budget process for segment down to the account level.
Analyze Competitors and market performance.
Lead predictive analysis and sales forecasting process for segment in cooperation with demand planning and sales team, and provide insights and outlier anals
Provide adhoc analysis based on the available data on a wide 'control tower' scope
Run analysis for sales management (rebate schemes, price negotiations,..)
Run analysis for cluster marketing (price range, cluster strategy, NPD business case)
Analyze client / product profitability
Building monthly and quarterly reporting for commercial team and input to finance.
Support commercial roadmap (Smiles, quotations) & Installation Capex
Business partner to segment manager and their their team.
Experience and Education:

*Bachelors degree in Business or technical related major

*Minimum 3 years experience

Competencies

Strong quantitative and analytical capabilities
High level of attention to detail and follow through.
Good strategic understanding of sales topics
Financial competencies
Advocate for data integrity
Ability to successfully work both independently and as part of team
Ability to influence without (formal) authority
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel required
Others: strategic thinking, interpersonal skills, ability to propose solutions
Up to 20% travel
