The Position

Warehouse Associate/Delivery Driver

Job Summary

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support all aspects of the hauling and delivery of product and equipment, including loading and unloading of all finished goods
  • Support processing equipment, loading, and evacuation of minerals at job sites
  • Ensure unloading of pneumatic material based on customer needs i.e. tanker pressure, flow monitoring, fill levels, etc.
  • Support movement of hoses and ventilation of material production and filling at job sites
  • Support the rigging and assembly of Perlite process equipment at job sites
  • Complete commercial drivers logs and customer paperwork
  • Assist with bagging and palletizing finished product in our warehouse
  • Perform housekeeping duties
  • Ensure equipment is maintained by communicating to supervision any components that need repair or inspection
  • All interactions with Imerys customers and employees are to be conducted with professionalism,, courteousness and respectful dialogue

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:

  • Requires Class A (CDL) driver’s license
  • High school graduate or GED
  • Strong knowledge of DOT rules and regulations
  • 1+ year of commercial driving experience, preferred
  • Experience with OSHA guidelines and best business practices, preferred

PREFERRED SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES:

  • Experience in loading and unloading of pneumatic tanks
  • Ability to work independently to meet customer timelines and commitments
  • Ability to understand and relate regulatory policy and company policy
  • Strong mechanical skills and ability to make comprehensive decisions
