The Position

Fused Minerlas S&OP & demand planning manager

Job Summary

Localisation: Europe 

Reports to: S&OP Business Planning Director RAC

Role:

Manages sales and operation planning process on a given scope to ensure alignment of functions and Top Management to delivery of mid to long-term business targets and customer satisfaction

Responsibilities: 

• Establish and execute an S&OP process for a given scope, aligned with Imerys S&OP blueprint

• Coordinates demand forecasting process, incorporating business intelligence and forecast information from Segment and finance, for multiple time horizons (18m rolling, year end, etc.) on a given scope

• Creates and maintains demand forecast models

• Ensures data generated by functional stakeholders is suitable for S&OP process. Initiates improvement actions if necessary.

• Analyze supply and demand issues. Prepares all data, metrics and scenarios to be discussed during S&OP meetings

• Ensures identification, monitoring and reporting of assumptions, risks and opportunities related to the medium to long-term business targets. Escalate as appropriate

• Writes S&OP meeting minutes, communicates key conclusions to stakeholders and performs follow-up of actions

• Continuously review the S&OP process to ensure it suits business needs and is up to date with best practices

• Key interfaces: strong partnership to be built with (i) Segments leadership, (ii) product management,  (iii) Supply Chain, (iii) Operations; (iv) Purchasing; (v) Finance

• Drives transformation and implements new BA organization and structure for his/her perimeter

• Good/practical understanding of S&OP best practices

• Project management

• Strong analytical skills and strategic understanding

• Others: strategic thinking, interpersonal skills, ability to propose solutions

• Advocate for data integrity

Ideal background/ experience

•5+ years of S&OP / S&OP management

Success Indicators:  

Customer satisfaction: lead times, OTIF, NPS scoring
