Operate an automated bagging machine (Roto Packer / Bulk Bagger) to transfer clay from silos and mills into 55 lb sacks, poly bags, and super sacks. Operate forklift to pull pallets of stacked bags of clay from the palletizer and take to the warehouse.

Perform all pre-shift and workplace examination prior to operation.
Operate Roto packer, super sacker, palletizer and forklift; to include troubleshooting the equipment when running slowly or when it stops running.
Fill customer orders according to MSS (master shipping sheet); to include modifying packaging (bag), clay, and bag weight to meet customer specifications.  
Clean machinery, equipment, and work areas to ensure proper functioning and safe working conditions; to include a daily end-of-shift work area cleanup.
Records production and operational information on daily production report to include any down/standby time.
Manually weigh bags to ensure conformance to specifications.
Manually reposition bags on pallets when necessary.

Communication skills required to convey loading/ order processing status to the mill operator, pull out operator and production manager.
Writing and reading skills required for inspection paperwork and safety procedures.
Basic math skills required to accurately process work orders
