The Position

Imerys PM APAC-Stores Executive, Kathdhal, Andhra Pradesh, India

Job Summary

  • Plans and directs the day to day operations of the stores and warehouse
  • Develop strategies to improve customer service, strengthening systems and processes pertaining to warehouse.
  • Ensure customer needs are met, complaints are resolved and service is quick and efficient.
  •  Sound knowledge of stores concepts, practices and procedures 
  •  Manage stock levels and make key decisions about stock control
  •  Supervises the safe receipt and storage of material.
  • Responsible for planning and executing of all the activities in the warehouse.
  • Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage system.
  •  Analyze shipment logs
  • Review timeliness of scheduled deliveries.
  • Track inventory levels and order new supplies in a timely manner
  • Constantly work to improve processes
  • Make suggestions for productivity improvements
  • Determine, track and continuously improve on the Key KPIs
  • Ensure that facility equipment is properly maintained.
  • Communicate and collaborate with other team members
  • Train, guide and evaluate functional & cross-functional teams. 

Education and Experience requirements:

  • Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
  • 2-4yrs working experience.
  • Good knowledge of Safety rules related to warehouse.
  • Good working experience in MS-Office


Knowledge, skills, abilities and other characteristics:

  • High professional ethics  
  • Problem-solving & Analytical skills.
  • Excellent oral & written communication skills.
  • The ability to work well under pressure.
  • Knowledge of computer based Geological Mapping/Surpac software/Excel/MS office.
  • A motivated self-starter with strong interpersonal skills. 
  • Flexible to travel
