- To head the planning of Ipoh 1, Ipoh 2 and Quarry by liason with respective operation and ensure the schedule of planned maintenance in placed and delivered.

- Gather inspection data from maintenance inspection team & presenting Preventive Maintenance activities and after PM report to the operating units and next improvement or actions required.

- To plan & prepare the workforce and material or spare parts for preventive maintenance while at the same time ensure the cost are in control.

- To prepare and presented the PR1 reporting with consist of plant utilisation (UF), machine reliability status (RF) and also MTBF to the operations.

- To communicate with work requester or maintenance executioner for complete clarity of work to be performed.

- To communicate with maintenance and operations expectations of work before equipment is taken out of service.

- Communicate clearly within operating unit (Production/Logistics) and within maintenance department details about the status of equipment during servicing.

- To liase with procurement and vendors on the spare parts and service required whether is urgent or planned.

- To study, evaluate and discuss with operation of how the work to be performed and what and who will be involved.

- To provide a central source of information concerning maintenance work, data, expert analysis and advice on maintenance performance.

- Perform failure analysis when equipment failed unexpectedly.

- Provide maintenance personnel with assistance as needed during equipment outages.

- Be aware of equipment reliability status at all times.

- Ensure all jobs are permit to bound under EHS requirement.
