Early 2018, Imerys has launched an ambitious internal transformation program to foster efficiency within the group: MAKE IT #1. MAKE IT#1 Group wide digital transformation is reshaping Imerys Digital landscape, encompassing 5 pillars: a set of common language and processes, a global ERP Core Model S4/Hana based, a common collaboration platform (GNOC, GSOC, unified WAN) and a common unified IT organization.
MAKE IT #1 aims at implementing common IT Tools for our business units / divisions. In order to enable seamless development and roll out of these new tools, Imerys IT involved from IT division centric organization to a regional IT platform (EMEA,APAC,US)
This position is part of EMEA IT RCC organization in Application team.
EMEA IT RCC (Regional Competency Center) implements and enforces standards and policies as defined by the Group. EMEA IT RCC designs, deploys and supports regional and Business areas specific solutions and applications.
The Industrial IT applications Business analyst covers any IT new applications projects, change requests and support on existing applications.
Industrial network & architecture
Industrial data collection OPC & OPC UA
MES & Scada applications
Maintenance applications (CMMS)
Weighbridges and scales
Travelling as requested by the projects : Up to 25%
Roll out projects designed by the group (standard data collection-OPC UA, Industrie 4.0 projects)
Define Industrial network rules, at site level , at BA level, at group level
Connecting the shop floor
Ensure continuous data collection to enable the move to Imerys Smart factory
Ensure compliance of the industrial network with IT security rules
Interact with MAKE IT#1 team to ensure realistic and coherent Manufacturing - Production applications integration with the SAP S4/Hana core model and Global BI
Ensure support for existing group EMEA MES-SCADA solutions (WinCC, Aspentech, Galileo,…)
Ensure support for existing EMEA solutions Production satellite applications (Weighbridges, LIMS…)
Escalate in case of conflicts regarding several activities inside his projects
Take responsibility for support level 2 and 3 management
Interact with Infrastructure teams to ensure the performance of the application portfolio
Participate into Application DRP for the application portfolio he is in charge of, in conjunction with the respective business stakeholders and IT Infrastructure teams.
Create Exploitation manual documentation for EMEA industrial applications portfolio
Inside the company
Hierarchically attached to the EMEA IFS & MES Skill center manager
Regular interactions with other IT Departments, including EMEA Service department (infrastructure, other specific applications) and MAKE IT#1 team (Business Process Owners, Data Migration, Stream lead)
Address Group level IT representatives when necessary

Education and Experience requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Engineering
5 years of professional hands-on experience with application management
Extensive experience implementing, migrating, managing, operating systems/applications and local industrial interfaces (weighbridge, barcode, RF gun, etc)
Strong knowledge about applicative solutions
Strong business knowledge in Industrial environment
Have a good knowledge and understanding of application architecture
Fluent or native English speaker
Experience of working within a culturally diverse global company
Experience in multidisciplinary team management
Conversant in French or another European language would be advantageous

The employee uses computer and telephone equipment. Specific vision requirements of this job include close vision and distance vision.
International travels around Europe may require a physical effort associated with luggage and professional computer transportation. Hours can be extensive as well due to travels.
