The Position

Business Analyst EMEA Thermal

Job Summary


Support and provide input to VP and Segment Management Team with analytical expertise and advice, to ensure the alignment of the group strategy and the sales performance, and to deliver on the business targets as well as customer satisfaction and other relevant metrics.


  • Business partner to the Management Team of the perimeter supported
  • Analyze Competitors and market performance
  • Coordinate with the BA Controlling team financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting (top line, gross margin, …)
  • Provide predictive analysis to support sales forecasting in cooperation with demand planning
  • Provide ad-hoc analyses based on the available data on a wide 'control tower' scope
  • Ensure meaningful data interpretation, actively develop strategic suggestions and follow up upon implementation of such measures
  • Participate in the regular calls/meetings of the management team and follow-up on actions 
  • Run analyses for sales and marketing activities (customer profitability, cluster strategy, NPD business case…) 
  • Support commercial excellence roadmap (initiatives, PMOs, KAM)
  • Support projects execution (planning, revised budget, installation Capex) in collaboration with the BA project controlling
  • Support cash collection activities
  • Produce Sales KPIs – e.g.: volume / price / mix analysis; Order book, Book to Bill, gross margin

  • Self-understanding as financial manager of the supported perimeter, on eye-level to the management team
  • Advocate for data integrity

Ideal background/ experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in business and / or financial management
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience, particularly in controlling 
  • Strategy experience is added advantage
  • Advanced knowledge of the contemporary IT tools and systems
