Multi Skilled Electrical Engineer

A vacancy has arisen for a Multi Skilled Electrical Engineer, based at Furzebrook working day shift.
The purpose of the role is to provide mechanical and electrical engineering support both in a reactive situation and proactively in delivering engineering, production and project solutions. You will deliver PPM, reacting quickly to unplanned downtime and help to improve product quality.
The successful applicant will:
Have a sound understanding of maintaining both mechanical and electrical process equipment.
Have the ability to fault find and resolve mechanical and electrical issues.
Have the ability to install and electrically connect equipment.
Be able to investigate and resolve root causes of breakdowns and log this information accordingly.
Applications are invited from applicants who:
Hold an ONC/HNC in electrical/multi-skilled engineering and/or crossed skilled from electrical to mechanical.
Have experience of process instrumentation and control systems.
A good knowledge of the processing industry.
Have good communication skills and is able to work in a small team.
Have a good knowledge of 5’s, Root Cause Analysis, Risk Assessments, KPI’s and PPM.
Holds a current driving license
