Project Engineer
A vacancy has arisen for a Project Engineer, based at Ellesmere Port working day shift.
The purpose of the role is to coordinate all necessary activities in the projects you manage. In the offer phase you will need to define materials and quantities setting up a refractory solution according to CALDERYS standards and customer requests. In the pre- and post-sales phase, you will coordinate the drawing and execution activities, and take care of the detailed engineering documentation.
The successful applicant will:
Develop the technical and commercial project offers
Complete Volume Calculations / Project BOM Issues
Complete Project Specification Evaluations
Study Technical Solutions
Document and issue Quality Control Coordination information
Complete Project Technical Negotiations with customers
Prepare materials and equipment for projects
Attend customer meetings, supervise projects and complete inspections when necessary
Applications are invited from applicants who:
Have previous experience in a Project Engineer role
Have very good Autocad (2D & 3D) skills
Have knowledge of the quoting and developing process
Are willing to make business trips to customer’s sites and will stay for project period
Are willing to attend abroad meetings with the Group colleagues
Have a strong interest & mind set for continuous improvement methodologies
Hold a certificate of Technical Expert is desirable
