JOB PURPOSE/ CONTEXT

Imerys Industrial Improvement program (I3) is now developed throughout the BA and seen as fostering energies and bringing our plants to operational excellence through working conditions (Must Haves) and Performance optimization.
The purpose of the RAC (Refractory, Abrasive, Construction) Center of Excellence team is to give support to plants and to drive performance at BA level.
Liaise with champions and local opex all around RAC business (36 sites in Europe, USA, South Africa, India and China)
Interact with other support functions (Energy, maintenance, process, purchasing, supply)
KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Encourages Safety culture in his/her interactions with others and whenever on the field
Follow-up & consolidation of savings files in liaison with plants, I3 community, and finance teams to ensure deadlines ...
Follow-up Must have audits dashboards usage and alert on plants in need
Participate in preparing and giving trainings
Preparing Quarterly business reviews (QBR)
Fosters continuous improvement by encouraging sharing and benchmarking (for example by reinforcing participation to Good practices contest)
Missions in different sites to reinforce team punctually for: I3 assessments, joint initiatives with Purchasing (STEP) or Energy optimization workshops (INergize), Must Have implementation, ...
INTERNAL & EXTERNAL INTERACTIONS
At site level: I3 community, Site managers community, PPM and CPAs within RAC
At BA level: Finance directors, Purchasing central team, Industrial support team
Corporate COE team
JOB SPECIFICATIONS/ PROFILE
Education and Experience requirements
Experience on the shopfloor (internship, missions)
Knowledge on Continuous improvement tools
Fluent in English
Organized and analytic
Easy communication skills both oral and written
Mobile and ready to travel for missions
Knowledge of energy or maintenance fields
Good level in French, German would be a plus
Basics in Finance and savings calculation

Safety oriented and driven, leading by example on all matters on safety
Self-driven and ability to work in autonomy
