JOB SUMMARY:
Schedule, Plan, review and optimize all the preventive maintenance routines establishing tasks, frequencies, workload balancing.
Schedule weekly, monthly plans, and major maintenance shutdown.
Review workload and define needs of contractors.
Generate and follow up purchase requests for materials, spare and wear parts to ensure their availability.
KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintenance Operations:
Planning and scheduling all preventive maintenance tasks (Mechanical and Electrical).
Ensure that all work requests are transformed into work order / job cards.
Generation and optimization of the maintenance workload based on work requests and inspection reports using CMMS.
Prepare, Coordinate and schedule maintenance shutdown (contractors, spare parts, tools, time) with the production department.
Ensure that scheduled maintenance works are done in line with the schedule/planning and cost.
Management – Planning & Cost Control:
Weekly and monthly reporting: KPIs of organization performance.
Generates purchase requisitions, and ensures that spare and services will be available on time.
Control of expenses during planning as well during the execution vs budget.
People Management:
Primarily responsible for their own development needs.
Train maintenance and operations on planning requirements.
H&S and Environment:
Ensure that all work orders / job cards have the required EHS information and that all legal requirements (safety, environmental, maintenance) are executed and followed strictly.
Innovation & Continuous Improvement:
Coordinate and propose improvement actions.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's Degree preferred – Engineering
7+ years of maintenance/Planning (Working with production).
Experience in definition and implementation of preventive maintenance programs and routines.
Experience applying FMEA techniques and knowledge of basic problem-solving tools.
Possess the knowledge and ability to train and develop Maintenance Department Personnel on CMMS Software.
Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint and Access.
Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and a positive change agent.
Broad knowledge of maintenance related program tools.
