The Position

Sales Manager-Polymers

Job Summary

Imerys is currently looking for a Sales Manager based in Ohio, Western PA, Indiana, Michigan or Kentucky that will generate revenue by pursuing new business opportunities and building profitable customer relationships at Key Accounts with sufficient breadth and depth to ensure all key contacts are engaged. The position is home based with responsibility for a clearly defined territory.

 

Responsibilities:

·        Maintain knowledge of Imerys and competitive products and have the ability to present the unique advantages of Imerys to key account

·        Develop strong working relationships with sales and other colleagues in order to share information on accounts and competitors

·        Use creativity and value selling with Key Account(s) to overcome obstacles and advance the sales process

·        Ensures tight coordination with PM Americas Operations, PM Americas Business Planning (S&OP), S&T and is supported by Finance and HR Business Partners

·        Leads high performance team through appropriate management rituals and attracts, develops and retains team members in his/ her perimeter (beyond direct reports) 

·        Responsible for embodying One Imerys Approach, specifically collaboration with other BAs for common customers and markets

·        Drives transformation and implements new organization and ways of working for his/her perimeter

 

Background/ Experience:

·        Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Business related field

·        10 years Industrial sales experience

·        Plastics or Polymer Industry technical background

·        Mineral experience a plus
