Based at our manufacturing plant in Jacksonville, Alabama, the Continuous Improvement Manager will lead cross-functional teams to define and execute industrial / supply chain I-Cube / continuous improvement programs to improve HTS Americas cost competitiveness and efficiency of processes, practices and organizations.
KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Leads I-Cube / Continuous Improvement program deployment across the Hub industrial and supply chain operations by supporting the 2 legs of I3- improving working conditions with MUST HAVES and generating margin improvement
Cultivates and promotes a strong continuous improvement culture across sites
Supports analysis of processes and practices to enable safety / efficiency / quality continuous improvement initiative generation, also with the support of Imerys Center of Excellence and other BA Center of Excellence
Generates detailed continuous improvement initiatives across the sites to generate savings with the cooperation of “I3 champions” and plant managers.
Leads effective operational processes’ implementation
Provides technical support and expertise to on-site teams for I-Cube deployment and improvement projects
Monitors progress of continuous improvement projects and related savings, including process management improvement, process modification, energy optimization
Maintains and creates appropriate documentation for reports, project execution, and data analysis
Provides Mentorship to Operation Sites & Supply Chain team members to support continuous improvement deployment
Captures and communicates learning to enable best practice transfer within the Division
Key interfaces: ensures tight coordination with HTS VP Industrial team, Hub Director, Imerys Center of Excellence, PLant Managers

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelors in Engineering or equivalent
Minimum 3 years experience in Operations, Engineering, Continuous Improvement
Lean six sigma experience
Excellent ability to promote new ideas and implement new processes/tools to support profitable business development and customer satisfaction.
