The Position

Energy & CO2 Inventory Analyst

 At Imerys, we have committed to reduce scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions by 36% relative to revenue (tCO2/M€) by 2030 from a 2018 base year, in alignment with a 2°C trajectory. New digital tools are put in place in 2021 to track the progress of 250 sites around the world.

Working for the Operations team in our headquarters, the energy & CO2 inventory analyst will be in charge of supporting the implementation of IT tool and develop the tools and dashboards for the end users. 


  • You will participate in the implementation of group wide energy reporting system, with 4 main roles:
  • Manage the energy data quality for the quarterly reporting. (30%)

  • Develop standard tools to facilitate data consistency check and performance review. (30%)

  • Prepare the energy report in collaboration with function managers. (10%)

  • Make Energy and CO2 inventory analysis (30%)

Your profile

  • Education: Engineering students (generalistic, industrial, process, energy, …), Statistics background or trading students

  • Project management skills: organized, time conscious, result oriented

  • Proficient in G-Suite, Microsoft Office tools, especially in Excel/Google Sheets

  • Databases knowledge appreciated

  • Strong interests or background for energy management (even environment also), industries and IT management tools

Your skills and abilities

  • Languages: full professional proficiency in English and French. A third language will be highly appreciated

  • Ability to organize multiple tasks and priorities

  • Rigourious

  • Autonomous and self starter

  • Able to interact with various people in the organization

  • Fast-learner, eager to learn and curious
