The Position

Indirect purchasing lead buyer - Travel and corporate services

Job Summary

JOB SUMMARY
The indirect purchasing lead buyer is the primary contact for all IMERYS headquarters indirect purchases.
Commodities managed are mainly business travel ;professional services; marketing and communication….
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
● Coordinate and manage IMERYS European travel project including : European business travel agency
negotiation (tender on going);support European travel agency , online booking tool,lodge card
implementation.
● Organize business travel suppliers business reviews; negotiate corporate contracts (airlines, hotels, short
term car rental)
● Support professional services category manager (consulting, training,legal services…) on specific
negotiations.
● Be the single point of contact for HQ purchasing requests.
● Ensure compliance in purchasing processes for HQ.

KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
● Work in close collaboration with internal stakeholders and indirect category managers.
● European business travel suppliers implementation follow-up
● Ensure projects follow-up and savings follow-up.
● Interlock with accountancy to make sure negotiated conditions are recorded.
● Collect suppliers reports for business reviews.
● Share information with local buyers when relevant.

JOB SPECIFICATION
● Minimum 4 to 6 years’ experience in purchasing
● French/English : Fluent
● Strong communication and project management skills
● Strong negotiation skills ; figures analysis capabilities
● Very good knowledge of Gsuite and Office (Excel)
● Experience in business travel sourcing is a plus.
● Adaptable and curious
