Install, repair, and perform routine preventive maintenance on the programmable logic controllers and distributive control systems for the Process Operations within the entire location.
Design and implement complex programs for PLC, HMI, and DCS Systems.
Repair and troubleshoot computers and networking equipment related to process control systems.
Function as trainer for electrical group in PLC, HMI, and DCS systems.
Assist in Electrical Instrumentation & Controls Engineering on Capital Projects.
Work with other departments and engineering to evaluate new ideas and processes.
Assist Maintenance Manager in developing and following an operating budget and a Capital Project budget.
Function as a team player on Electrical Instrumentation & Controls and cross-functional teams and to provide resources for other teams.
Provide Supervision support to other areas of the Maintenance Department as needed. Implement and provide Equipment PM and PDM programs with job plans for electrical, Instrument and Controls
Recommend and implement programming and/or hardware changes to control systems to support production goals.
Primary support and liaison with process engineering, capital projects, and outside contractors for automation issues and improvements.
B.S. in Engineering (Electrical preferred), preferred with minimum 5 years Industrial Maintenance/Controls/Instrumentation/Electrical experience.
Will also consider an Associates Degree with 15 plus years experience.
Produce P&IDs, panel Layouts, schematic wiring diagrams, Instrument lists, single line diagrams, engineering submittals
PLC Programming - (Prefer experience with Rockwell, Allen Bradley, RS Logics)
Able to write controls narratives for systems.
