We collaborate with our ecosystem of partners to leverage our synergies and explore innovative solutions together.
Key material initiatives & low-emission processes
- Seitim - A joint venture with French start-up, Seitiss, to offer circular economy solutions that recycle mineral waste from industrial activities.
- SU-NERGY™ - A high-performance graphite solution derived from forest residues, with a 60% lower carbon footprint than fossil fuel alternatives.
- Polwhite LOOP™ - The first kaolin to be certified as "Circular material" by ISCC PLUS for improving barrier properties in tire inner liners. Imerys is the first minerals producer to achieve ISCC Plus certification.
- Remined™ - A portfolio of 100% UL- and LEED-certified pre-consumer recycled calcium carbonates from the USA, designed for use in carpet, flooring, mortars and adhesives.
- Utilizing post-industrial feed materials, such as mineral by-products in the ceramic industry.
- Using recovered glass in mineral wool products to cut CO₂ emissions while maintaining thermal performance.

On May 22, Imerys’ operation at Par Moor in Cornwall had the immense privilege of hosting Sarah Jones, the UK Minister of State for the Department of Business and Trade and the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero - alongside key local government and industry stakeholders - for a roundtable on critical minerals exploration and production in the Southwest of England.
