ImerCare® Oral-3C
High performance white opacifier and gentle abrasive for oral care
ImerCare® Oral-3C is a UL-certified, ground calcium carbonate (GCC), with 100% recycled mineral content, specifically designed for oral care formulations.
Sourced from our Carrara quarry in Italy, ImerCare® Oral-3C combines controlled abrasiveness, natural whiteness and opacity to provide an efficient cleaning action on teeth. Its optimized Pellicle Cleaning Ratio (PCR) efficacy guarantees excellent stain removal, promoting long-term enamel protection and overall oral health.
Thanks to its high whiteness and uniform particle distribution, ImerCare® Oral-3C also acts as an efficient white opacifier, giving toothpaste formulations an opaque appearance.
ImerCare® Oral-3C offers a natural alternative to synthetic whitening pigments, such as titanium dioxide, meeting growing demand for cleaner, safer, and more sustainable formulations. It is fully compliant with food additive criteria (E170) described in EU regulation N°231/2012.
The performance of ImerCare® Oral-3C has been tested by the Oral Health Research Institute at Indiana University, USA. Relative Dentin Abrasion (RDA), Pellicle Cleaning Ratio (PCR) and Cleaning Efficiency Index (CEI) were each measured by representative in-vitro tests.
