Imerys announces two changes in its Executive Committee

Imerys, the world leader in specialty industrial minerals, announces changes in its Executive Committee as of October 1, 2022.

Leah Wilson is appointed Group Chief Sustainability Officer and member of the Executive Committee. Leah joined Imerys in 2017 as a Director in CSR and has continuously supported Imerys’ increasing focus on sustainability.

Anastasia Amvrosiadou is appointed Group Chief Human Resources Officer and member of the Executive Committee. Anastasia joined Imerys in 2015 through the acquisition of S&B, a Greek Company. She has since held various roles of increasing responsibilities within the Group.

Vincent Lecerf, member of the Executive Committee and Chief Human Resources Officer since 2017, has decided to pursue a new professional opportunity outside the Group.


Biographies 

Leah Wilson

Leah, 45, joined Imerys in 2017, where she has been responsible for leading the definition of the Group sustainability ambition, steering the sustainability roadmap development and deployment throughout the organization and monitoring performance and implementation progress. 

Leah, a Canadian citizen, has a Bachelor of Science in Physical Geography and a Master of Science in Fluvial Geomorphology from McGill University in Canada. She started her career holding various operational and business development roles in engineering and international development in Canada. 

In 2007, she became Sustainability and Environment manager at Saipem, an engineering and construction company in the energy sector  where she managed sustainability, environment and health and safety in Singapore, Australia, France and many other countries around the world.

Leah is successfully driving Imerys’ sustainability agenda to support Imerys’ business strategy, including stewarding the Group decarbonization roadmap.  

 

Anastasia Amvrosiadou

Anastasia, 50,  joined Imerys in 2015 through the acquisition of S&B. She has since held various roles of increasing responsibilities and was appointed HR Vice President EMEA, in 2019. 

Anastasia, a Greek citizen, holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Athens Economic University in Greece and a Masters in Human Resources and European Industrial Relations from Keele University in the UK. She has held senior managerial roles in the FMCG, the consulting and the banking industry. In 2006, she joined S&B, a Greek multinational mining company where she held various senior HR positions.

Since 2015 within Imerys, Anastasia coordinated the HR organization of 24 countries and successfully delivered on a series of key projects to build a common HR infrastructure to support the different businesses, including the set up of the European SSC that serves 14 countries, while navigating the sanitary crisis of 2019.
