The Position

Industrial Controller Denmark & Trading

Job Summary

RESPONSIBILITIES

Operations controlling:

  • Prepare monthly financial reports including sales, margin, and working capital analyses and variances against prior and budget periods

  • Track and report on operational performance (capex, opex, efficiencies, savings programs)

  • Maintain energy, mining, production, and inventory reports

  • Lead actual and standard cost updates for inventory valuation and margin analyses

  • Prepare and present annual budgets and quarterly forecasts

Trading controlling:

  • Prepare monthly financial reports with sales, margin, and working capital analyses

  • Prepare and present annual budgets and quarterly forecasts

  • Recalculate transfer prices annually and maintain pricing master database

  • Support annual standard cost updates • Resolve transfer price variations

Business partnering:

  • Support trading and operations managers on financial and business matters

  • Coordinate with consolidation & accounting team

  • Proactively analyze costs and cash flow, identifying risks and opportunities

  • Excellent analytical and communication skills

  • Strong operational acumen

  • Proficiency in SAP and advanced Excel/Google Sheets

  • Hands-on attitude and continuous improvement mindset

  • Fluent in English

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting (minimum)

  • Around 5 years of professional experience in controlling/accounting

  • Experience with financial reporting cycles (forecasts, budgets, planning)

  • Experience in a complex industrial environment preferred
