The Position

Solution Manager

Job Summary

Company

On March 28, 2024, Imerys Group (www.imerys.com) published a press release announcing it has entered into exclusive negotiations with Flacks Group  for the contemplated divestment of its assets producing kaolin, ground calcium carbonate (“GCC”), precipitated calcium carbonate (“PCC”), and talc, which primarily serve the paper markets in North Americas, South America, Asia and Europe.

The future company formed by all these industrial sites, kaolin mine, port and logistic hubs is foreseen to start its operation under a new brand in the course of 2024. It will offer mineral solutions for industries worldwide. Currently serving mostly the paper and board markets , the new company will use its global footprint, unique assets and longstanding know-how to develop new business opportunities and foster innovation. Sustainability is a core value of this company.

With an annual revenue of around 350 million euros in 2023, this activity will employ about 1000 employees. The Company needs to reinforce the existing teams to operate as a standalone organization but also to meet its ambitious development plans.

Overview

Responsible for overseeing the implementation of software systems within their organization. Ensure that new systems are properly designed and implemented in a way that meets the needs of the business.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluating the strengths and weaknesses of existing business processes and recommending improvements to them
  • Conducting training sessions for new employees on the use of software applications
  • Developing strategic business plans for the organization based on emerging industry trends, new technologies, and other factors that could have an impact on the company's success in the future
  • Helping to develop and implement new technologies within the company's infrastructure, such as computer systems or mobile devices
  • Serving as a liaison between IT departments and other departments within the organization to ensure that all business processes are supported by technology
  • Analyzing data from surveys and focus groups to determine customer satisfaction levels with products and services offered by the company
  • Reviewing employee performance and providing feedback to help improve productivity
  • Identifying new business opportunities for the company and developing plans for capitalizing on them

Experiences

    • You have a relevant experience as a Project Manager and a background as a Solution Architect that helped you apprehend the implementation of an ERP.
    • In your previous experience, you programmed in Java or Perl in information technology, or experienced Infrastructure Build for Application development.
    • Your leadership skills will be important to help you in this managing position and change making role.
