Our low conductivity kaolin rubber additive

Our Glomax range is a high purity calcined kaolin designed to provide low conductivity for medium- and high-voltage electrical applications where volume resistivity is crucial.

Wire & cable

The Glomax range imparts excellent insulation properties in medium- and high-voltage power cables. Due to its low moisture pick-up, it is a particularly good choice for guaranteeing insulation properties under wet operating conditions.

Our Glomax range also improves compression set, making it suitable for the production of rubber cable sheathing of flexible cable. 

Used in partial replacement of ATH or MDH in halogen-free cables it provides superior flame retardancy, abrasion and oil resistance while maintaining good electrical properties.

EPDM extrusion

Glomax is a valuable processing aid in the extruded and calendered rubber products, where it confers a very smooth finish and excellent dimensional control due to the low die swell it imparts.
