A natural alternative to microplastics in scrubs
We offer a wide portfolio of 100% natural perlite grades derived from volcanic rock for cosmetics markets. Our ImerCare® P-Scrub grades are excellent, environment friendly alternatives to polymer beads used in face and body scrubs, shower gels and shampoos.
ImerCare P-Scrub perlite grades are ideal for personal care products that require exfoliation or high-absorbency properties, while our ImerCare PerlWhite grade is an excellent whitening and polishing agent in toothpaste.
Among our perlite grades for cosmetics, ImerCare® 20P, 25P and 30P perlite grades are ideal for skincare, sun care and make-up applications requiring high absorption properties. ImerCare® 90P-Scrub perlite is engineered for gentle exfoliation and foam boosting in anti-dandruff shampoos.
ImerCare® 120P-Scrub perlite delivers a gentle exfoliation effect in lip exfoliation. ImerCare® 190P-Scrub perlite is a gentle exfoliator for face scrubs and cleansers. ImerCare® 270P-Scrub perlite and 400P-Scrub perlite are designed for exfoliation in body scrubs and shower gels, as is ImerCare® 700P-Scrub perlite, which gives a more tailored exfoliation with high sensory perception.
For a gentle polishing effect in whitening toothpaste, use ImerCare PerlWhite 19 perlite. All our cosmetic products are natural, high quality, chemically inert and offer good skin tolerance. As they are not treated with chemicals during processing they can be used in cosmetic products that comply with cosmetic directive regulation (EC) n° 1223/2009.
