Fused silica for advanced ceramic applications

Produced at our fusion and processing facility in Greeneville, Tennessee, TECO-SIL is our brand of electrically fused high purity silica that are characterized by their extremely low coefficient of thermal expansion, consistent chemistry and carefully controlled particle size distributions. TECO-SIL fused silica products are specially engineered grains and powders designed for use in a great deal of industrial applications, electronic applications and molding compounds.

When used in Epoxy Molding Compounds (EMC) it offers excellent electrical resistivity, low thermal expansion and corrosion resistance that increase the reliability of electronics and semiconductor devices. When used for advanced ceramic applications, TECO-SIL can be used within membranes & foam filters, for catalyst support and diesel particle filters, and thermal & electrical Insulation, for epoxy molding compounds and high voltage components such as spark plugs.
